Guiding the Kerala state youth team to their first ever National championship, I realized the fruits of my labor. Guiding four children ranging from 8 to 13 to successfully compete with the best in the nation brought me a great sense of accomplishment. When the last of the children finished the races, I realized it was one of the greatest moments of my life. I realized that my ability to motivate others could lead to great achievements. International relations will definitely enable me to continue to find such opportunities. As example, A dialogue between the Soul and Body, portrays the conflict between spirituality and bodily instinct. This conflict is especially portrayed by the personification of the Soul, in which the Soul states, A Soul hung up, as there, in Chains/Of Nerves, and Arteries, and eventualities, besides each other part,/Len a vain Head, and double Heart (Marvel, 246, 7-10). Marvel used this imagery to portray the entrapment of the Soul in the Body, as if it were in chains. This imagery inflames the idea of the spiritual domain as in constant temptation and opposition against the evil desires of the flesh. The influence of the King James Bible, especially of Mark 14:38 stating that the flesh is weak against temptation, which also influenced Done, is similarly seen in this Statement Of Marvel (Bible, 2012). The imagery of this temptation of the flesh in the spiritual journey supports the theme of struggle in the poetry of Marvel. In another poem of Marvel, A Dialogue between the Resolved Soul, and Created Pleasure, a similar debate is portrayed between the spiritual and the worldly temptations. This imagery is used in order to emphasize the motif of struggle, which is present in such a fight. The motif of acceptance is however correspondingly emphasized in this poem. Analogous to Herbert in The Collar, Marvel ends A dialogue between a Resolved Soul, and Created Pleasure in a sense of acceptance. In the last chorus he states Triumph, triumph, victorious Soul (Marvel, 240, 75). Hereby Marvel personifies the Soul to create an image to the reader of the Soul as winner of the spiritual battle. The Soul is considered as deserving of praise, after he resisted all worldly temptations. The imagery Marvel, Done and Herbert used, especially such as these Of Marvel drawn from the King James Bible, supports the themes of struggle and acceptance. The scar tissue causes increased resistance to blood flow through the liver resulting in a condition called portal hypertension. Portal hypertension is a process whereby high pressures develop in the veins that drain into the liver. Consequently the blood will return to the heart through alternate low pressure veins that bypass the liver. The liver is thus unable to either add or remove substances from the bypassing blood. Sympt oms of Cirrhosis The signs and symptoms of liver cirrhosis may be invisible or non specific at early stages. The non specific symptoms include fatigue and itching. Fatigue is a common symptom of cirrhosis. It is important to screen out other causes of fatigue that may have nothing to do with liver cirrhosis. Itching is also a common symptom of cirrhosis. Itching in patients with liver cirrhosis is due to bile duct disorders. Itching due to liver cirrhosis can result in itching over large parts of the body and can be severe. As liver function deteriorates, a variety of liver related symptoms may develop. A condition called Jaundice may manifest through yellowing of the skin and whites of the eyes. Darkening of the urine and pale stool may occur prior to yellowing of the skin and whites of the eyes. The yellowing is a result of accumulation of bilirubin in the blood stream. Becoming a RN entails formal education from a state-approved nursing school and state licensure. There are generally three educational approaches to becoming a registered nurse. Registered nurses usually train by completing a bachelors or associates degree program in nursing. Less commonly, registered nurses prepare for the occupation by earning a diploma in nursing. Graduates of any of these programs are generally eligible for licensure and entry-level employment as registered nurses. Nursing students may choose from a variety of education options to become a registered nurse. Some teaching hospitals offer 3-year diploma programs in nursing; however, these programs are rare. The International Trade Liberalization of India According to many global economic studies the key to peace is through the promotion of free trade and the institution of democratic principles, this theory also known as liberal international relations theory. In late 1991, with the transfer of the Indian Parliament into the hands of political and economic reformers, despite much opposition, India began its quest towards liberalization. The reform implemented freer trade in the largest democracy in the world. Facets of the Reformed Policy since India's independence from British control in 1947 until India’s Prime Minister Narasimha Rao took office, have characterized Indian’s foreign policy as fairly isolationist. During the Cold War period India retained a policy of nonalignment. It was uncommitted to either the West or the East and stuck to an "Swadeshi" ideology. This Swadeshi ideology simply meaning "India first," and was an extremely nationalistic ideology that advocates self-sufficiency. Just under a decade ago, Indian foreign policy has taken significant strides towards liberalization. Since Prime Minister Narasimha Rao assumed his position as the head of this state in economic shambles, India has undergone significant reform in its domestic and foreign economic policy. Rao's administration implemented major changes in international banking, interest rates, and the ability to fully convert rupees (India's currency) into international tradable transactions. But most importantly, towards the end of 1991, Prime Minister Narasimha Rao opened India's doors to international foreign investment. Many global economic studies stated the reforms in 1991 were simply necessary. As Clive Crook reported in The Economist at the time, the new government attempted to restructure the "ever-proliferating bureaucracy" and the "license raj". This reshaping dismantled the barriers for international foreigners to enter into the Indian markets. Such barriers included ser ies of permits and licenses granted only by members of the Indian Parliament or high-ranking bureaucrats. These complicated and inefficient policies turned away potential foreign investors and, therefore, hurt the Indian economy. As part of the reform plan, Prime Minister Narasimha Rao implemented revolutionary changes. According to the Asian Survey by Nalini Kant Jha, Prime Minister Narasimha Rao limited the equity participation to 40% and removed the provision for the necessity of local control of industry. India also turned into favoring export-led growth; therefore, it removed restrictions on foreign trade and significantly reduced customs duties and tariffs on imports. It would be a mistake to deal with this book as a pure history book. It’s not depending only on dates and chronological extent of the Arabic people and civilization and this is a good point to build our review on it. Summary Hourani’s book begins with the story of Ibn-Khaldon, the great Arab socialist. The following chapter talks about the appearance of Islam and Muhammad and then his successors and the formation of the Islamic empire 3 . Next, the book talks about the Islamic society and its Koranic accounts 4 with the great revolution in translating science and Greek philosophy with the appearance of Sufism 5 . Islamic expansion and the description of minorities like Jews and Christians 6 followed. Many chapters described the same period of time but dealing with different subjects, like chapters twenty 25 two and twenty three 26 in the (1950s and 1960s). From the other point of view, this book skims some important details such as, the detailed pre-Islamic era, the great empires of Umayyad and Abbasid which was represented with partly amount of pages that doesn’t exceed seven pages in some cases. Also the detailed life of Prophet Muhammad, which has a great impact on the Arabic societies. Also Crusaders wars weren’t well mentioned, although it has a very huge impact on Arabs in its time. Conclusion Dealing with the history of Arabs is such a great effort and a hard game to play. This book tried to do the most of the job with a different way, which is representing history from the social point of view. I would recommend this book if one already has a minimum knowledge and understanding of Arab history . Otherwise I recommend alternatives such as, History of the Arabs from the earliest times to the present, of Philip Hitti. It would be useful for a good specialized historical reading.

Elena hung up her cel phone as they puled up to the boardinghouse in Stefan's car. â€Å"The nurse at the hospital says Caleb's stil unconscious,† she said. â€Å"Good,† said Stefan. She gave him a reproving glance and he stared back at her in exasperation. â€Å"If he's unconscious,† he explained, â€Å"it'l give us more of a chance to figure out what spel he's cast on us.† They'd fil ed three fat black trash bags with the papers, clippings, and books they'd found in the Smal woods' garden shed.
